Shazada Hayat President UICF (UK) and international community welfare campaigner is lobbying and promoting Pakistan’s formidable fighter jet the JF-17 Thunder. He is urging the friends of Pakistan countries: Britain, Europe and the United States of America to help support and promote Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder fighter jet. Pakistan has always been a great ally and a non-NATO member of the Western alliance. Pakistan has been throughout its 76-year history a true friend of Britain and the United States of America. Pakistan proved this fact when in the hour of need of the West, they helped defeat the Soviet Union out of Afghanistan.

Pakistan stood shoulder to shoulder with Britain and the United States to take on the might of the USSR. In doing so, Pakistan risked its very existence, in taking on the Soviet Union. However, the fallout was a war of terror declared on Pakistan. The consequence was that over 80,000 Pakistani’s lost their lives and the economic financial destruction amounted to over $100 billion. Pakistan took the terror cell head on and achieved a resounding victory at a catastrophic price. Therefore, Britain, Europe and the United States owe a huge debt to Pakistan for the monumental sacrifice Pakistan has made, more than any other country in the Western alliance. This proves that Pakistan has been a friend throughout. A friend in need is a friend indeed,
The British, European and USA chief marshals and other Airforce supremos should recommend the JF-17 Thunder as a formidable alternative fighter jet. This would be a step from the West in the right direction, to their show gratitude and to reciprocate the huge debt owed to Pakistan from the West. Whilst it is a fact, that the fifth-generation fighter jet of Russia, China and the USA is more superior than the JF-17 Thunder, those countries who are unable to get the fifth-generation fighter jets because of restrictions of sale and or the huge cost elements. Those nations are exposed and vulnerable to defend themselves. The Russian Sukhoi SU-57 costs $54 million per plane. The Chinese Chengdu J-20 Black Eagle cost $110 million and the American F-22 Raptor cost $350 million per plane.
This therefore, means those countries who are unable to acquire the fifth-generation fighter jets are left inadequate without a proper air defence. It is for this reason that the JF-17 Thunder is the wonder and most certainly a great alternative fighter jet under the circumstances.
Shazada Hayat went on to say, If one was to consider the fraction of the cost and the availability the viability and the capability of the JF-17 Thunder, it is no wonder the world military analyst and think tank institutes see Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder as truly the greatest alternative fighter jet and also, a knight in shining armour in the sky. Therefore, there is no reason now for any country in the world to say they are weak and vulnerable not to be able to defend themselves in the sky. Their territorial integrity and nation’s safety and security can be protected.

Britain and Pakistan share a very unique and special strong historic bond. HM Queen Elizabeth II was the first and only Queen of Pakistan. Also, the first army chief of Pakistan was a British general. Pakistan’s world formidable intelligence service The ISI was established by a British Australian. The founder of Pakistan Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a Governor General of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Pakistan. Therefore, the British Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, former NATO Secretary General Lord George Robertson and the NATO Supreme Commander General Rupert Everard are under a moral obligation to reciprocate and honour the loyalty and sacrifice of Pakistan, the true friend of Britain and the West.
The world should be told Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder is the greatest alternative fighter jet and most certainly a game changer. A new dawn in aviation combat and defence of a nation is now here and it is all thanks to Pakistan,
said Shazada Hayat.
